안녕하세요,
저는 선우예요.

host · korean learner · language enthusiast

I started this podcast because I couldn't find Korean listening content that was slow enough to actually follow — but natural enough to actually learn from. Everything I tried was either designed for natives or dumbed down to the point where it didn't sound like real Korean.

Each episode is one conversation, one story, one topic. No grammar explanations in English. No slow robot voice. Just Korean — the way it's spoken — calibrated to stay just beyond your comfort zone, which is exactly where the learning happens.

I'm a heritage speaker rebuilding my formal vocabulary, and making this podcast is as much for my own learning as it is for yours. I know what it's like to feel like you're almost there with a language — and I want to help close that gap.

01
Comprehensible input
You acquire language by understanding messages, not by studying rules. Everything here is designed around that idea.
02
Natural, not perfect
The audio is real speech, not scripted studio-perfect delivery. Slight hesitations and natural rhythm are features, not bugs.
03
Scaffolding, not spoon-feeding
Transcripts and vocab lists are tools, not crutches. The goal is always for you to need them less over time.

Episode requests, corrections, or just a note — I read everything. The podcast gets better because of people who write in.
